VIAGGIO IN GALLURA (A journey through Gallura, with english translation)
One year of photographic survey and 25 years of ideas and itineraries are the background to Viaggio in Gallura. The brief introductions to the book and its four chapters provide a four-angle perspective to such an extraordinary land. The titles are: Man's Places; Nature's Spaces; Rocks, Sand and Sea; Talents of Gallura. 442 27x30cm pictures (almost all mine), mostly unpublished, flow through the 312 pages of the book, with some surprises: eight 4-fold giant pages with 27x120cm images, scattered like top notes highlighting the sequence of subjects. The book is currently available from main bookstores. A review by GEO Magazine A review by OASIS Magazine.

Storie dal mare Ed. Aliberti
|
STORIE DAL MARE (Stories from the sea) The book (in Italian) is a collection of "mediterranean tales" by Donatella Bianchi, presenter of the TV program Linea Blu. Love for Nature, be it sea, sky, or vulcanoes, is the thin blue line joining men and places, both protagonists in these pages. A special charm comes from the places described by my introductions to Donatella's stories.
Storie dal mare is a deeply mediterranean book, dangling between earth and sky, myth and reality. Aliberti Editore 2009.

Relitti in Sardegna Ed. Taphros |
(Ship Wrecks of Sardinia)
The book is about the story and the present state of modern ship wrecks sunk in the Sardinian sea. Inspired by the previous book "Tragedies of War and Peace",
it offers new images and informations, but primarily
the description of new wrecks: 29 are described
in full detail, whereas summaries are provided for as many as 65 wrecks. The history of each ship was patiently
assembled after long investigations, by examining official
documents of the Marina Militare Italiana, of Harbour Offices,
of the London Public Record Office and collecting the declarations of tens of
eyewitnesses. The underwater images are the result of hundreds of immersions, and they provide a documentation of the state of the wrecks,
but also of their gradual deterioration.
